The Challenge

Every year, the BCAMA hosts its annual Vision Conference which is typically a two-day in person event. Given the COVID-19 mass gathering restrictions at the time, the reality of hosting an in-person conference were unlikely, and the planning team decided to make the pivot to a virtual event.

Inventa partnered with the BCAMA in the production of an immersive two-day virtual conference to help marketers learn how to rebuild and reimagine. (re)VISION: Marketing through a Pandemic and Beyond was hosted using innovative virtual event platforms, filled with inspiring keynotes and impactful workshops designed to help agencies and brands navigate the evolving marketing landscape.

As a strategic partner, Inventa worked with the client to conduct rehearsals with the emcee and speakers in advance and managed the full run of show for the event, including the back-end virtual event technology showcasing both Zoom Webinar and Remo.

The Outcome

With over 170 attendees, audience satisfaction was the highest they have seen in over 5 years for this annual conference, with survey results showing that the likelihood to attend a virtual event in the future was even higher than for the in-person conference!
