In partnership with BCDA’s ad agency, we developed two highly successful cause marketing campaigns with consumer promotions, that fell under one overarching theme which was ‘Support Local’.
For the first initiative called ‘The BC Giveaway Series’, we partnered with local businesses that feature & celebrate BC Dairy products for a consumer facing, giveaway promotion. The promotion featured each location’s product as the ‘HERO’ and included a charitable component that tied contest entries to a donation to the Food Bank. Local business such as; Coffee Shops, Ice Cream Stores, Cafés with brunch menus and Cheesemakers. To ensure province-wide reach, we engaged local media to boost the giveaways through social reach and digital content.
Our second summer cause marketing campaign titled ‘Perfect Pairings’ aimed to highlight BC breweries, wineries, cideries and cheesemakers as the perfect companions, in order to help elevate awareness of BC Cheese and entice consumers to support local.
Our in-store promotion was an extension of the overall digital media campaign. Each participating location featured one, hand-crafted BC cheese from a local cheese crafter that was available to the consumer as a gift with qualifying in-store purchases.

Inventa has been a valued partner for BC Dairy as we navigated the challenges of marketing during the Covid-19 pandemic. When our in-person experiential activations were put on hold, the team at Inventa helped us to quickly develop and launch an online experiential program that combined consumer engagement and support for local BC business.
The feedback was very positive and was an important piece to support our overall strategy.
