The Challenge

When Nintendo of Canada shared that they had the opportunity to host an exclusive preview event for the Nintendo Switch 2 in Canada, Inventa was real-time ready!

From securing a HUGE venue, hiring a LARGE team of gamer-friendly staff, to the development and implementation of an elaborate Experiential Marketing event plan that aligned with each party involved, Inventa welcomed the challenge.

Timelines were tight and details were vague due to the sensitivity around new console launch details.

The Solution

Being the only Canadian stop on a world tour has its challenges, but that did not stop Inventa. By implementing established tools and utilizing strong networks, Inventa helped to streamline an otherwise daunting list of tasks into a manageable schedule of responsibilities – all the while keeping security and confidential launch information top of mind.

The event plan covered off all the details, allowing dozens of influencers, media and consumers to get hands-on and interactive with the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 – before officially launching in Canada.

The Outcome

A truly immersive Nintendo Switch themed event that achieved over 16,500 unique Nintendo Switch 2 game samples for over a whopping 17 different software titles. To achieve this the footprint required over 200 individual gaming stations broken into 5 uniquely themed gaming zones! This showcased the breadth and depth of the new console and all its features in advance to launch.

Inventa prides itself is recruiting an on-site execution team for this specific event of over 130 energetic people. This ranged from event support staff and zone supervisors to gaming enthusiasts who know their way around a console. All who went through a detailed training session that was an event on its own. The team had a blast working this ‘once in a lifetime’ event that should not be soon forgotten.
