As the presenting sponsor for Canoe Volant in Edmonton, ATB recognized the need to find innovative ways to engage with the local community that resonated with their brand values and the cultural diversity of Alberta. They looked for an activation that would celebrate local Indigenous & French-Canadian heritage while providing the opportunity for attendees to learn more about ATB’s community involvement, all while warming up from the cold festival space.
Creating a memorable experience that would both attract visitors to the ATB activation site and promote its community involvement throughout Alberta was a big ask… Inventa knew how to tie it all together!
Inventa designed an XM activation centered around the Possibility Pot contest which invited guests to enter for a chance to win $5,000: $2,500 cash for themselves and an additional $2,500 to be donated to one of four selected Treaty-6 Indigenous charities.
This feel-good campaign was brought to life with an engaging footprint that would attract festival goers with a wide variety of experiences:
This came together perfectly as a cultural celebration organically complemented by its sponsors – thousands of festival attendees and their families visited the ATB activation zone.
In total, we engaged with over 4,350 guests, welcoming 3,130 of them through the photo-op so they got to take home a photo to remember their experience with ATB at Canoe Volant.
